The Office of Zero Emissions Vehicles

The governments’ mission is for all new cars and vans to be effectively zero emission by 2035. Vehicles are a crucial step to decarbonising our transport system and reducing air pollution through zero tailpipe emissions. The government recognises that many people will want to charge their electric vehicles at home. This grant scheme is designed to help them do just that.

Are you eligible for a grant?

The Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme (EVHS) is a grant that provides a 75% contribution to the cost of one chargepoint and its installation.

A grant cap is set at £350 (including VAT) per installation. The main requirement are:

  • Access to legal off street parking

  • Own or lease an electric or plug in hybrid vehicle (Purchased/leased from 1/10/26)

  • Your property must be located in the United Kingdom

  • The charge point must incorporate smart technology (Choose one from our range)

If you’re not the owner of the property, you’ll need to get approval from your landlord before any work can be completed.

You can claim for each eligible vehicle, with a maximum of two grant funded vehicle chargers per property.

Please find a list of eligible vehicles here:

How Much Will You Pay?

We can provide a quotation for an OZEV/EVHS grant assisted home or workplace installation. The cost of the installation depends on the ‘charging point’ you select; we will only ask you to pay this cost when the installation is confirmed.
